OverviewThe district attorney's office and regional law enforcement are teaming up to create a crime scene investigation unit. The purpose of this new unit will be to gather evidence in a more scientific manner, and to provide more valuable evidence to the district attorney's office in order to help them convict criminals. For this unit to be successful, the investigators will need to understand the scientific background of evidence-gathering, as well as the appropriate tools to help them gather the evidence. Additionally, they will need to understand how the evidence gathered is typically used in a criminal trial.
